To support the growing giga yacht sector, the
St. Maarten Harbor Fueling Company NV, also a subsidiary of Port St. Maarten, operates a dedicated fuel station at the windjammer berth in Great Bay.

Most yachts berth at Windjammer West (65 meters (213 ft) long, 6.5 meters (21.5 ft) depth) and Windjammer North 100 meters (328 ft) long, 6.5 meters (21.5 ft) depth.

There is also the possibility of berthing on Cruise Pier 2 (445 meters (1,460 ft) long, 12.0 meters (39.5 ft) depth alongside.)”

Deep-water approach to all terminals. Only hazard on approach is the Proselyte Reef.

Is there the possibility of anchorage?

Good anchorage can be found in 12.19 meters (40 ft) of water in Great Bay. Negligible tide in St. Maarten: maximum of 1 ft.

Are bunkers available?

Yes, bunkers are available from port authority.

Is there a fueling station?

There is a fueling station for mega yachts near the windjammer berths.

What services does Port St. Maarten offer?

Waste oil and black water removal and glass recycling services are available. Fresh water is available.

Diverse and Accommodating Marinas

St. Maarten’s marinas are renowned for their diversity and ability to accommodate a wide range of vessels. Located in Great Bay and as the closest marina to the cruise terminal, Dock Maarten can accommodate up to 40 vessels of up to 120 ft in length. The Simpson Bay Lagoon itself is accessible to yachts with a maximum beam of 56 ft (17 meters) and a maximum draft of 17.0 ft (5.0 meters) via the John Sainsborough Lejuez Bridge.
